Joy is what you find when you look into the teethy grin of an orphaned child. Pure joy. They smile with joy that comes from the Lord even though they have nothing. They know they are sons and daughters of the most high King. They have something many of us do not. They have the ability to see past material things and superficial relationships. They are innocent. Pure. Loved. Joyful.
They are not orphaned in the way it really matters. They are owned by God. They are His beloveds. They are His gifts. He will lavish them with His love, grace, peace and JOY.

...A little history...

- I was born and abandoned on the streets of Calcutta, India in 1980. Because God is in control of all things and has a plan for each of our lives, I was rescued and adopted when I was 3 months old weighing a mere 7 pounds. I had the incredible opportunity to grow up with a loving Christian family in Portland, Oregon. While I didn’t always embrace my testimony the way I should have, the Lord has bestowed much patience on me as I have grown in my faith and accepted the plans He has for me. I am a work in progress. There is one special thing about me and that is that I have a relationship with Jesus Christ and have accepted Him as my Savior. The Lord has blessed me, once again, with an opportunity to return to India to minister and to purposefully spread His joy, peace and love. Many of my friends and family will make this trip with me by helping to raise financial support, by keeping me accountable in my spiritual growth and by praying for me and the lives I'll come into contact with. My hope is to fully set myself aside and to be used as a vessel to share Christ’s message of everlasting life. Blessings, ...R...
